About:
“La Bise” is a story of people who “miss each other” almost a year after the beginning of the confinement. A story that is bit Parisian, from Brussels, but above all human and universal because of social distancing.
A street art work made in Paris on a wall in the 10th district in January 2021 (instagram reel), in the form of a collage with real friends “who miss us”, and near the Place de la République (rue Juliette Dodue), it is then converted by the artist into a handmade silkscreen.
Each silkscreen is made in collaboration between Anthea Missy who creates the work from her original sketches and photos of the street art work in situ and the printing screens, and then the printer with whom the mixing of colours (instagram reel) is carried out in the workshop before printing colour by colour in series.
